And Purdue had stretches where they looked like title contenders this year. I don’t know how Painter wastes a top 2-3 pick, his 2 bigs, athletic guards and a sharpshooting Stefanovic. That’s the worst loss in their school history considering the team, matchup and opportunity in front of them.

This tournament is crazy. And will probably continue to get crazier with the 3 point shot. It’s such a wildcard. Maybe not so much tonight but any team that shoots 35+ threes can go 50% or they can go 8%. Makes for some outlier events.

I'm really impressed with Saint Peter's defense. Held Murray State to 60 and Purdue to 64, well below their averages.

I'm no coach, but I don't know WTF SPU would've done if Painter went twin towers on them with Williams and Edey at the same time. I don't think he even tried it.

Not that I'm a B-1-G guy but I do wonder if next year's bids will be quite as generous at the bottom end.

Lots of low BIG seeds though, 2 teams playing in and 1 team that had no business getting an invite. Purdue, Illinois, Iowa we’re the BIG disappointment
