I’m not mad, I’m just disappointed……

The margin of error is so small…..Pulisic, Ream, and Wright all had glorious chances and whiffed. While the Dutch hammered home 3 of theirs. I’ll be really curious to expected the xGF and xGA numbers. I’m guessing maybe the Dutch by less than a goal.

4 years to get better and find a striker. Is there a Dempsey/Donovan in the pipeline? Beats me…..but I’d even take a Zardes who just finds a way to score.

I don't know if Pulisic whiffed. The goalie wanted to win, too.

Where I’m at. A little dejected. Want better for this team. We’ll see.

Time to give my buddy at USSF hell (jk, I hate it as much as he does…except it’s his livelihood).

I don't know where it wasn't obvious that this is a multi cycle strategy.

That there's not a 9 is isn't anyone's fault.

Its not like they didn't audition 96 guys.

They want a veteran core group for the "home' tournament. To do that you have to commit to kids. Kids are going to have trouble with the Dutch.

Maybe Pepi will be bigger and stronger next time around and keep kicking butt to become the striker we need. I think Berhalter needs to gather his roster as soon s possible for the sure things and keep them playig as much as he can for the chemistry and continuity aspects. There will likely be 6 spots or so open for new faces I would guess with the rest going to the young guns that have this WC experience now. Just a couple big pieces away from being very good and making a lot of noise.
