Color me totally underwhelmed by Ewers. Not sour grapes from me, I was hoping the kid would do well at Texas (with them remaining mediocre overall) and held no animosity when he left given the situation. Gotta wonder if he was just wildly overrated. Sark isn't much of a HC, but he can coach QBs. Not seeing much from Ewers when I've watched him that tells me he's anything above "meh."

He looks like a really talented guy who is content to just wing it and play backyard ball. Would've worked for him 10 years ago, but college football is at a different level now. Can't win anything without talent, preparation, and execution.
