2022/23 Bowl Game Discussion Thread

I keep seeing this bs about the SEC being at a disadvantage because they have “6-6 teams playing 8-10 win teams”

there is exactly 1 game where the SEC had a clear disadvantage. The Florida 6-6 vs 9-3 Oregon State game.

every other game is either even or within 1 W/L either way. Basically even all around

ESPN never brought that up for the B1G (and it happened a lot) back when bowl games mattered and the SEC wanted to be there

Horrible call at the end.

Syracuse stops Minny on 3rd and 2 with close to :50 seconds left. They were going to have to punt. Refs call dead ball unsportsmanlike penalty on Syracuse guy for celebrating the stop (apparently). Game over

It better had been over the top egregious to call it in that spot. Wow.

Okie gets a TD called back due to a holding penalty ( sound familiar?) but it looks like they are about to open a can on Free Shoes. Sooners feelin' the Cheez!
Edit: Maybe I spoke too soon. After the penalty the Sooners did nothing but go backwards. :slappy:

Should be hosted in Dayton Ohio, birthplace of the Cheez-IT

Abso-fucking-lutely. I would get tix every year.

Hard pass. There’s enough crime in Dayton without the ‘Noles coming to town.

Okay, maybe we start next year then. Could you imagine Noles players in Oregon District?
