For the third year in a row, Toledo wins the regular season MAC title but not the tournament title. Kent State is going dancing.

Toledo hasn't made the big tournament since 1980.

Just saw a 5 seconds call in Arizona-UCLA after also seeing one in our game. Bill Walton, no doubt stoned out of his mind, made an excellent point - it's a redundant rule. We have a shot clock to keep the game moving. There's no longer a need for a 5 seconds rule.

But we're talking about a sport that still has a 1-and-1 foul shooting rule in the era of the three point shot. Some things just don't make sense.

I’ve been saying for years that they should kill the 5-second rule. Have the refs forget about that and spend more time looking for 3-seconds, a call that actually matters and isn’t called enough.
