Yes, deep recruiting roots in California is definitely where Michigan needs to focus their attention. Not Ohio, or Western PA, or Michigan, or Chicago... go compete with the big dogs in California.
That said, Dudek was pretty awful, so it’s hard to imagine them doing much worse, but here’s hoping there’s a chance... that career trajectory is pretty impressive.
Battling with MWC caliber schools for recruits is right up their ally now a days though. So he's right on brand.

Scam Webb now reporting that there are “concerns” in Ann Arbor about losing Xavier Worthy, their 3rd highest rated recruit in 2021. Sounds like Texas and Georgia are coming for him. Amazing how this new recruiting coordinator is already killing it on the west coast.
Oh and their 2021 class would drop from 10th to 14th (behind UNC) if Worthy leaves. Hate to see it.

Worthy wanted Bama SO BAD but the Tide dropped him on Signing Day in order to steal a WR from LSU. Worthy was supposed to enroll early at scUM, but didn't. I doubt he ever makes it to Ann Arbor, but if he does he'll undoubtedly end up in the transfer portal sooner or later (probably sooner).

Yep. He orchestrated the #MOBMove back in June of 2019. You know, when scUM got ten marginal prospects to commit during the same week (June 20th to 27th) so it appeared that they had "recruiting momentum". The MOBMove briefly bumped scUM into the top 5, but of course they finished 14th for the Class of 2020. Total minor league ploy.

By the way, two of the #MOBMove have already transferred (Aaron Lewis and William Mohan), and the other eight did jack shit last season.

Morgans recruiting efforts he was involved in
Fresno State which is at least a somewhat established G5 he led to the #3 class in the MWC. This is about where Fresno State seems to finish anyways on a yearly basis so nothing ground breaking here.
The 2 classes he was along with at San Jose State finished 9th and 12th in the MWC........
Seems like another case of thinking replacing someone who sucked automatically equals sure success.

Also has Harbaugh made one "home run hire" his whole tenure at scUM? Lots of trust in a guy whos not shown he is in anyway good at picking people to be on his staff.

I'm sure taking a 50% pay cut while being reluctantly married to a program that is reluctantly married to him has got "home run hires" punching each other in the dick to be a part of it
