They both should contribute heavily next year. Hinton is probably starting with Jeter. Smith should be first or second off the bench along with Welschof

for a broad scope of just how bad their DT depth is

Hinton is a former 5 star, who as Harbaugh 5 stars go, has failed to live up to his recruiting ranking thus far.

Welschoff was that #1!111!! player from Germany. Who was recruited as a DE. 645th in the 247 composite

Donovan Jeter has 14 tackles, 0 sacks, 0 TFL and hes a senior.

Mazi Smith was barely able to break into any playing time as a freshman with said awful depth/talent.

Rooks is a better option that nothing, he's at least top 300 in the composite but he doesnt look like a guy who will maybe contribute at the P5 level for a couple of years.

A 260 pound true freshman DT is going to get mauled in the B1G but, then again, that's pretty much the body type they have been putting at DT and the results they have been seeing so who knows? Maybe he does play from day 1.

Good thing they kept their DL coach who has struggled to develop anyone too. That'll do wonders for these late in the process "gems"
