Smith, Brooks and Brown all shoot 40%+ from 3p on the year and Howard was determined to keep pounding it in to UCLA’s collapsing defense. Obsessed with the post up game and UCLA is fine with those results.

Dickinson and Davis combined for 17 points on 8-16 shooting (couple lucky slop shots), 2-5 from the FT line and 6 turnovers. They put a lot of work into those points.

Say what you want about UCLA; but....

1) as a "First Four" team they have been (basically) playing with "house money"
2) they don't choke
3) they definitely know how to win the close games
4) they beat fucking Xichigan
5) unfortunately for UCLA their game against Gonzaga probably won't be close
6) even if they get blown out by Gonzaga, they still had a GREAT tournament run (from the First Four to the Final Four)
