you mean the 80'sGeorgetown has lost 11 consecutive games. Hard to fathom considering the powerhouse they were in the 90s.

Yeah. Remember when Georgia Tech and Wake were really good? I kinda miss that.Conference expansion has hurt the ACC basketball product. Not necessarily at the top, as the powerhouse programs have not been harmed for the most part. Carolina has struggled recently, but I attribute that more to the end of an era with Roy Williams retiring, as its not unusual to have a few down years in a transitional phase. UNC does need to make some big strides within the next couple of years, though. Back when there were only 9 programs, the ACC was highly competitive top to bottom. Now it seems like there are always a handful of teams that are cannon fodder. I feel like conference expansion has been very detrimental for the quality of product for most of the 9 that were in the league before.
Two best in the Big Ten. Illinois seems to be healthy and coming together but they’re still coached by Brad Underwood so…Yeah. Remember when Georgia Tech and Wake were really good? I kinda miss that.
I'll be glued to Illlinois/Purdue tonight like a whole lot of people.
Georgia Tech used to be a program with a lot of pride. BC was usually a tough out, and they're a shell of their former self. Wake definitely has been knocked down a couple notches, as has NC St. Only FSU and UVA have risen compared to the pre-expansion years.Yeah. Remember when Georgia Tech and Wake were really good? I kinda miss that.
