The Wisconsin Badgers defeated the Minnesota Golden Gophers Sunday, winning 66-60 to improve to 17-3 on the season and 8-2 in the Big Ten Conference. Johnny Davis led the team with 16 points and 15 rebounds in the win. After the game, fifth-year senior Brad Davison, who scored 14 points in the win, called Davis the best player in the country.

"He's the best player in the country," Davison said, via Badgers247. "....We'll take it. When the game is on the line, we have a lot of confidence in him to make the right decisions, go get a bucket, find somebody or get a stop. We're really thankful to have him on our team. He does a lot of good things."
