Wonder how the elite QB would keep their woefully undersized DL from being manhandled? Or give speed to Metellus?
Their issues run much deeper than QB (but that's a big one)

Well, McCaffrey's moxie and charisma are what would have put scUM over the top in both the OSU and Bama games. I mean.. don't mind the fact that McCaffrey was on the team during those losses. It's well known that one only gains the power of leadership once he's under center.

... and.. are we just going to ignore that Don Brown, apparently, wanted McCaffrey to start? I mean... he's the Defensive Coordinator. I'd say his opinion about the offense carries a lot of weight. On the other hand, Brown was probably just of the opinion that his D would surely be better if McCaffrey were the guy and not Mississippi Jesus.
