11 1/2 sacks in 4 years.

Both sacks this season were against a woeful minnesota team. He was nowhere to be found for the most part in the other games.

I guess you could consider his production "ok" at scUM due to him only being a 400+ rated 3* coming in.

Much like Rashan Gary, his production/ability at scUM is not the reason hes gonna get drafted high. Its the NFL team banking on being able to turn measurables into something.
To be fair, he missed a game or two with injury this year (and another few due to team tap out). His "break out" season, statistically, was his junior season (2019). Which was almost as good as Chase Young's two-sprained-ankles, pretty-good-but-slightly-disappointing sophomore season.

One of those guys may have seen the field in Columbus, Kwity Paye who could have been a rotation piece on our DL. The rest? Nope.
Sure, but if you've adjusted your expectations so that slightly out-recruiting Penn State is the goal, because recruiting competitively against Ohio State isn't a realistic option, then that's not such a big problem.

2020 stats: 13 tackles, 0 TFL, 0 SACKS

Career: 11 TFL, 3.5 sacks

What a coup for ttun...

Just look at this list of SDE-like players since the 2018 class:
  • Julius Welschof, 6'6/248 (was 278 as of last year)
  • Taylor Upshaw, 6'4/240 (265)
  • Michael Morris, 6'6/260 (262)
  • Gabe Newburg, 6'5/230 (250)
  • Braiden McGregor, 6'6/248
  • Aaron Lewis, 6'5/235
  • Kris Jenkins, 6'4/239
  • T.J. Guy, 6'4/230
  • Dominic Giudice, 6'4/250
With all that SDE talent since the 2018 class, I wonder if Hutchinson can even hang onto his starting job....

The delusion over at _goblog is absolutely remarkable...

This is wonderful news for Michigan, whose defense went off a cliff this season when Hutchinson and fellow star DE Kwity Paye went out with injuries. With Paye off to the NFL, Don Brown's successor only has to replace one All-American defensive end.

That wailing you hear is the lamentations of Big Ten offensive linemen who just discovered they're in for another season of this:

The Michigan defensive coordinator job just got a little bit more enticing, as senior DE Aidan Hutchinson announced he intends to put off the NFL one last time:
Yeah will muschamp was gonna pass on the tsun dc position until he learned that THE adian hutchinson was gonna be there next year. Now he's worried about Bill belichick taking the job from him.

Hail to the Vi…

Excellent news. Aidan definitely has first round potential, and probably would have been selected in the first 5 rounds of this draft. Awesome to see him stick with it, despite the less than ideal circumstances!
So he's a potential first rounder but might last to round 5? I don't pay much attention to the no fun league and its draft, but I don't think that's how it works.
