I don't think Herbie saying that was all that responsible, from a journalistic standpoint (but then again, when has that ever stopped the crew over at ESPN?) But in this particular case, I like that he put it out there. It's something that everyone was thinking about and a lot of ttun fanbase had explicitly asked for online. Now its out there in the open and all eyes are on Jimbo and ttun to see how they respond. And, at the end of the day, lets face it, as far fetched as it might sound, them ducking the game was actually a pretty likely outcome, even if no one will ever admit it publicly.

Plus, now, we can't lose. If the game gets played, we get what we all want. If the game is cancelled, the perception will always be that ttun ducked it. And that, my friends, is a stink that doesn't just wash off.

After all this time, he still hasn't learned that him saying something like that vs you or me saying something like that are completely different things. Mr. I'd never send my kids to play in a Tressel offense.
