They don't want to see Wisconsin this year. Many weaknesses exposed today.

Let's all remember, normally they would be starting the B1G season now.

games-wise, yes

calendar-wise, this would be the beginning of (The) Game Week, normally

There is a huge amount of work to do, but after the Indiana game in 2014, did anyone here think the Buckeyes were a legit playoff team?

Agreed. Depth behind Wade and Banks is very young. Unfortunately, T. Johnson hasn't done much. Can't see them turning to true freshman unless there are injuries.
Yep so what we see is what we'll get...

As I said during the game.... if Joel Klatt is telling the audience where the ball needs to go and then the said team does exactly that for a touchdown then there are serious x and o issues.

DE play remains inconsistent. They had half a decade of greatness, with at least one guy playing at a top-3 NFL pick level (if not multiple).

DT play is pretty good. They're collapsing the pocket fairly well, no one's getting home outside.

LB play has improved. Get a proper unit in front/behind them, and it would be even more dramatic.

CB play is inconsistent. It's not where it needs to be but it's miles ahead of 2018. It's been the greatest in the history of the sport for awhile, so naturally there's a high standard that they aren't matching.

Safety play is really weak. Safety recruiting was also not very good for multiple years in a row. Proctor is one of the few exceptions to that, and also is the only safety that is showing flashes of the level of play they need.

I forget who tweeted it, that despite losing Okudah and Young, the guy they can't replace is Jordan Fuller.

just their defensive alignment and mis-matches pre-snap dictates where the ball is about to go. If we can see it on t v. why can't the coaches see it in the booth?

The fact they had to say "the first four...." is when you know you got a major issue.

I think Hooker is personally way in over his head alone out there. They attacked down the sidelines and down the seams all day which is an issue with single high. Yet no adjustments.

I know Ryan wants to see a single high look but we do not have the personnel to run the look.
