2020-2021 College Basketball Discussion (Official Thread)

Liberty hangs on to win the ASUN. Weird school but they have great athletic programs running in basketball and football- probably dirty if I had to guess.

also, catching up on the rest of this board’s fireworks  Wow, some people really choose to be miserable/complain huh

So ttun finishes 14-3 in conference vs. Illinois at 16-4. Illini win more games and beat the snot out of them by 23 at their place. But ttun gets to claim the regular season title???

Putting a giant asterisk on this one.

Decided to burn off some brain cells and read mgoblog, a lot of them basically saying Illinois shouldn't have lost to Rutgers and Maryland, as if they didn't lose by 18 to fucking Minnesota.

Sure, Michigan likely wins the 3 games they didn't make up, but they only beat Penn State by 4 in Ann Arbor, maybe they might've had a bad night against Indiana. The conference pretty much gifted them 3 wins.

The conference could've just let the games play out and then decided what to do but that's the Kevin Warren B1G for ya.

Ain't gonna lie, the officiating* across the conference has made games basically unwatchable for me. It's gotten to a point where I'm paying more attention to how awful the officials are than the game itself. And the constant stops to review shit fucks up the flow of the game. Something needs to be done about that...badly.

* - this is not me blaming officiating for any of our losses, it's fucking terrible both ways across the board.
