Ohio State should crack the top 5 in tomorrow's AP poll.

Not sure if they will get voted ahead of Villanova (since they only have 2 losses) but maybe.

Houston also only has 2 losses but was sitting at 5th I think Ohio State passes them.

Illinois is going to crack the top 10.

Yet their women's team is still playing Thursday but apparently the men can't make it work. Fuckers should have to forfeit. Bull shit. Now Illinois will get punished for having to cram in another game somewhere in an already tight schedule. Still have to make up games with Sparty and Nebraska.

I just heard that the reason they don't want to play is they need more practice time before playing so that is why so ya that sucks I wanted to see that game and see 1 team lose.

I was going to be bold and say Illinois would move up to #6 but then backed off. I didn't think the voters would actually do what they needed to do and move them that high.

It is interesting that Illinois has 5 losses and moved to #6 that is the power of the Big Ten.

They should just make North Carolina forfeit if players can't follow the rules.

About two hours before the scheduled tipoff, Monday night's men's basketball game between Miami and North Carolina in Chapel Hill was postponed, the ACC announced.

The decision came hours after The Daily Tar Heel, North Carolina's student newspaper, posted a Snapchat video that shows UNC standouts Day'Ron Sharpe and Armando Bacot partying without masks on, along with other young people who also aren't wearing masks Saturday after UNC's 91-87 win over Duke.

Ohio State with no more games before the selection show on Saturday..........#1 seed ? Let's compare the teams in the running if you assume Gonzaga, Baylor and Michigan will be 3 of the #1's.

Villanova 12-2 (2-2 in quad 1, 3-0 in quad 2, 7-0 in quads 3/4) NET of 11 coming into today, SOS 167
Alabama 15-5 (5-3 in quad 1, 5-1 in quad 2, 5-1 in quads 3/4) NET of 8 coming into today, SOS 13
Illinois 13-5 (7-4 in quad 1, 3-1 in quad 2, 3-0 in quads 3/4) NET of 4 coming into today, SOS 25

I think those are the teams in the running. It is very possible we could get 3 of the top 5 overall seeds from the Big Ten.

I think Ohio State clearly gets the edge over Illinois despite they have higher NET because 9 quad 1 vs 7 quad 1 wins and the main reason Ohio State won on the road at Illinois.

I think it comes down to Ohio State and 4 losses with 9 quad 1 wins vs Villanova having only 2 losses but only 2 quad 1 wins and 5 quad 1+2 wins.

Looking forward to Saturday. If you told me just a week ago that this might be possible I would told you are crazy. If Ohio State lost to Iowa it probably be looking at a 3 seed. That win was massive as was Illinois win. That is why I hate to play those teams again you already beat them and even though at home this isn't a year where that matters and if they beat you then you lost everything you gained from your road win.

At what point does Michigan's lack of games played make them ineligible for the B1G championship? After missing 2 weeks of games and additionally opting out of a tough game with Illinois which would have been Thursday, I'm thinking they're pretty much there. There is no way the difficulty of their schedule is remotely comparable to that of OSU.

I'm talking conference regular season championship. You know, they award rings for those. Normally you have to win the most games to get them. I get that the games may be rescheduled, but I am skeptical they will find a way to redo 5 games within 3 weeks.
