UCLA was up and gave away the easiest 0.8 second in-bounds bucket I've ever seen for Stanford to win in OT. Da Silva, Stanford's best player, jogged straight down the lane and put in a point blank lay-up.
For the life of me I dunno why the Bruins didn't have Riley protecting the basket. 0.8 seconds, Stanford is not going to have a guy catch the ball and get his feet set and shoulders squared and ball released for a shot with range. If they did it'd be a rushed prayer. Park your rim protector at the rim.
I wouldn't care much but UCLA is our one good OOC win.
Not sure how we can have conference and NCAA tournaments when teams go on 2-4 weeks hiatus. Nova missed basically an entire month and now the team up North is going to miss like 2 weeks.
In the regular season teams can just not play but that can't happen in tournaments.
Without a bubble (and being there for a while before it begins) I don't know how this can happen.
Leagues should have planned to have a gap between conference tournaments and the NCAA tournament. Either the NCAA tournament should have been pushed back to start or the conf tournaments should have been pushed up.
Just is what was needed to try their best to ensure every team had a chance to play in the NCAA tournament.
I am still pissed Ohio State blew a 5 point lead in the final 2 minutes vs Purdue but Cleveland State now has my rage losing an 11 point lead at home vs Milwaukee with 1:17 left.........ESPN had them at 99.4% chance to win.
