Or the fact that a team not being motivated for a top 10 matchup is more of an indictment about the character of the team than if a motivated team just got outplayed.
The 'excuse' they seem to want to use just makes them look worse. Much worse.

Get the hell outta here. When a team gets a supreme ass beating of this magnitude, you sit down and shut up unless you’re laughing at them.
The SEC is full of these horrible takes and sore loser jabs. You ever wonder why the S-E-C chant starts going around the stadium when one of your teams get thumped? It’s because of cocky BS like this.
They got SMOKED. This wasn’t a drop off at some skill positions, it was a massacre. It was also yet ANOTHER L in the books. Own it!!

It was alsmost sickening to listen to the announcers make excuses for 4 quarters (I know, I should have muted the sound). It was great when at the end they kept talking about this was only the 6th time in the last 30 years that Florida has lost by 30+ points, a true statement. Then they made the mistake of showing the graphic - 5 of those 6 times have been in the last 5 years, including once to tsun. So it really showed how Florida now gets embarrassed on an annual basis. But they didn't quite couch it like that. Didn't fit their narrative.

What a bunch of pathetic losers. STFU and take the loss for what it was, an curb stomping from a decent OU team. SEC teams are so used to getting their ass powdered by every outlet and writer that they can't own up to anything.
Your defense is hot garbage. Your coach is a bitch who will never take responsibility for anything, and your QB was nothing more than an above average player that got Heisman talk due to the SEC and throwing the ball constantly. You're discount 2018 OSU without the talent and balls to win your conference and bowl game. Go home and wait for Mullen to dislodge Riley's foot from his ass. Maybe by then you'll have a new book of excuses.

In the past, I’ve said that QBR is a stat invented but ESPN and that it was created to serve their own purposes and to not give it any credit. I haven’t seen their ‘formula’, which I believe includes fudge factors to benefit SEC teams.
Here are stats and QBR numbers from last night:
Spencer Rattler.....14 of 23, 247 yards, 3 TDS, 0 Int, 06 rushes for 40 yards, 1 TD... QBR=76.6
Emory Jones..........8 of 16, 086 yards, 0 TDs, 0 Int, 10 rushes for 60 yards, 1 TD... QBR=92.4
How in the Hell do those numbers make any sense? As I’ve said, never use QBR when talking about college football, it’s a scam stat created by ESPN. Use the NCAA’s passing efficiency stats.
