Nice win for the Sooners. But the rematch in the CCG is the game that really matters. And in most years it's going to be a rematch between OU and Texas. That's such a stupid setup.

Now OU is supposed to win the rematch. If they do, big deal. (Other than Texas going 1-3 against their rival in two years' time. Whoopee!)

If they don't, then that CCG rematch might cost them a playoff berth and they'd have to wonder what was the point.

Yep

This was the best outcome for OSU in regards to playoff positioning.
