I think half the students in my major are doing "robot football" for Sr project this year. Sad to say, VTech looks like they're a lot farther ahead :bonk:.

Hmmmmm, so maybe neither Locksley or Gattis were responsible for bammer's offense last year. Maybe it was the fact that their two-deep is/was stocked with four and five star studs while turtle and scUM... aren't.

Peter Principle at work in both cases. Locksley had been HC once before, where he went 1-11, 1-11, 0-4 at New Mexico.
I'm sure he's a decent OC if that's all he's focusing on. It's hard to be the de facto OC while being HC for the first time. That's a lot to bite off.
It's why hiring a proven HC is generally the smart route imo.
It's rare to find a Coordinator that can jump straight to P5 Head Coach... and if you do, it helps to have a badass staff with CEO-esque OC and DC to help the transition. Such as we have here where Wilson-Yurcich could run the Offense w/o a HC, and Mattison-Hafley could run D w/o a HC. Plus position guys like Larry and Hartline. Lets him concentrate where he needs and focus on his job as Head Coach.
