There is a special something going on with this team.

The coaching staff is ridiculous. The talent at every position is off the charts. There is a perfect balance of veteran experience and youthful recklessness. The chemistry is perfectly dialed in. There seem to be no "me-first" attitudes or egos to appease. The brotherhood is real and growing every day. The players talk about it, but if you watch, you can actually see it. When Haubeil hit the long FG right before half of a blowout game, Chase Young was one of the first ones out to celebrate with the kicker. Keep in mind this was 3 measly points in a blowout game. It wasn't about the points - he was genuinely happy for Haubeil. That's truly something special.

There is something special with this team.

Enjoy it while it lasts.... it isn't going to last forever.

Couldn't agree more!
The last couple years. something just seemed slightly "off" with the team. Not sure if it was attitude or what, but every game seemed to have a bunch of WTF moments even though they kept winning.
This year you can sense a different vibe. This team really reminds me of the "14" teams. They are dead serious, but also really seem to be having fun out there.
It's a pleasure to watch!

Reminds me of 2006 when we just controlled every game. 2014 still had a ton of WTF moments .

It was more than a half...the Juggalos actually should've won that game.
Nah Buckeyes were leading 13-7 at half before pulling away to win 37-7. 2002 was when we beat them 23-19.

All that being said, I do have a question. To those who study football much more intensely than I do, do you see any glaring weaknesses or issues that set off alarm bells but opponents haven't been talented enough to exploit?

Edit: Besides QB depth that is lol

Glaring weakness, no. But Fields needs improved pocket awareness if we are to WIN a Natty. ....in my IMO...

I see a couple things on the Defense that might get exploited a little bit. First is delays and draws running under our pass rush. The way we fly up field makes a counter punch in that area sting a little more. The other is the seams and just beyond the LB area in the middle. Hopefully we don't see any real seam busters at all this season.

Everything else is pretty sick man and even these two things are fixable and easier to talk about than actually exploit.

One other thing to consider about this team; They just had their "rain game" against a good opponent who benefited tremendously from getting to play OSU one handed.

The 2019 team won by 31
The 2015 team, as loaded as it was, lost that game.

Just something to consider
