I wonder if PJ Washington has unofficially decided to hang it up at KY and sit out the tournament while rehabbing his injury. Telecast made veiled references that he may continue to sit out because he feels it is in his best interest. @HenryMuto got any Intel here? My bracket was counting on PJ to actually play.

Did they mention Minny went all the way to the final four that year and it ended up being vacated?

Their last sweet 16 that still counts was in 1990. That team reached the elite 8.

The thing about Florida that struck me watching them the other day is that the Gators are a team that has lost a lot of games, and their execution for much of the second half looked like that of a team that should lose a lot of games against good teams. Spot on. We met and exceeded every expectation we had when you looked at us when we were 4-6 in conference in early February. We made a run and got to the Dance. We needed someone to shoot unconscious while we played great D and got lucky. There is a reason we were ranked third to last in the 32 teams left. We kept it close at half. Next year should be brighter.
