So saying that Chase Young wasn't even the best defensive lineman playing this year is free of bias. And who cares if he played it. The world is full of barely literate morons who played college football. The guy should honestly be stripped of his vote for that bullshit.
We all know he voted against Chase not for Brown because of the suspension. I bet you could find his tweets about the suspension that’s all you need to know.

Jeebus. We disagree with the guy. That doesn't make him either an idiot or an S-E-C shill.

Judge him on his body of work, not just this opinion.

i never thought i would see the day that an LSU player would win this thing.

and then to have someone like Joe who does it with such class, makes it even better.

When Mathieu was invited, we all knew he wasn’t winning it. And let’s face it, he had some baggage with him that we all feared would catch up one day.

then Fournette was phenomenal, but never showed up in biggest games so never made it to New York.

and then there is Joe. This kid is cut from a different cloth.
First you can tell he was raised the right way.

and then that he had to struggle to get to this point wasn’t lost on him. And to see true appreciation for those who have helped along the way is something special as well.
not gonna lie. I shed a tear during that speech last night.

hopefully 10 years from now there is a statue of this kid somewhere on campus.
