2019-20 Bowl games (non-CFP) thread

Probably, but being down 14 at halftime made it easy for the committee.

Some folks are giving those people far too much credit. They watched the CCGs, LSU looked more impressive, we got bumped. I don't believe for a second that they got up Sunday morning and walked through the entire season one more time.
And they could ignore the Bucks 2nd half? Why? Because of the perception that has been built against Big Ten football. You change that perception when the other conference teams do well in ooc play.

1. osu was screwed "all year this year"? we were #1 in the playoff poll much of the time.

2. what does that have to do with a buckeye shouting "go blue"?

No you don't. The BIG went 7-1 in bowls two years ago and 5-4 against a tough slate last year and it didn't do much to change perception. You change perception when:

1. Ohio State wins the natty this year; and

2. FOX, as it did this year, provides counter propaganda to SEC/ACCESPN.

The single biggest factor in the perception of the BIG is the degree to which Ohio State dominates, wins, loses, or shits the bed in the biggest games.

Bull shit, b1g teams went 8-1 (lol tsun) a few years back. Didn't change a thing about the esecpn narrative, which frames everything the committee does. Nor has rhe many poor bowl showings from sec teams. And the inbreds down here will never change their opinions on b1g/osu football. If I root for a b1g team in a bowl it usually cause I dislike the other team more. Nothing tsun, psu, or wisc do in late Dec/ early Jan will help osu next season.

This. Don't know why people keep buying into ESPN's narrative year after year.

Unfortunately, this is the simple truth.

At the end of the day, pundits don't care about MSU, Ttun, Wisky and Iowa.
