Sometimes im so thankful Big went to 14 and we left the hasbeens/neverweres behind in the West.
This week's Fitzgerald and Lovie comments are embarrassing. Not to mention the results between corn, purdue, northwestern. We just gotta deal w/Sparty having a down year.

Listening to ESPN trying to talk up Boston College as a "challenger" to Clemson and legit ACC title contender because they are 3-0 beating Umass, Holy Cross and hanging on to beat Wake Forest was pretty hilarious.
Doug Flutie and the reincarnated corpses of Art Donovan and Ernie Stautner ain’t beating Clemson

ESPIN trying to work their magic to make this schedule look like anything other than the steaming pile of mastadon dung that it is will be fun to see unfold this year:

First good team they play will be in the playoffs (and this is an example of why the CFB playoffs are still so utterly fucked imo. Nothing resembling a consistent framework for playing the same kind of schedules.)

That's definitely how it rolls. FSU and Louisville are both pathetically mediocre, yet theyll get propped up when Clemson comes around. The only way they don't make it is if they come out and totally shit the bed in a game. Even then you know a 1 loss Clemson team that wins the ACC title is going to get flung into the playoff pretty much assuredly. Theyve pretty much "earned" the Alabama "benefit of the doubt" bid at this point from the playoff committee.

Have to see how it all shakes out but I can't imagine a team getting in with 1 loss against that schedule.

If they do.....man oh man.

It depends how the rest of college football shakes out, but I wouldnt doubt it that if they stumble to say a Georgia Tech type team and finish the season with 1 loss they get the "well it was probably a fluke, theyve proven this in the past bla bla bla" benefit of the doubt.

Not really impressed with what i've seen from them so far so wouldn't doubt that the "fluke" loss happens again at some point.
