Iowa converts on 4th and 8 to set up the game winning FG as time expires, 31-28. Hell of a fight by the Huskers. That pick on their second-to-last possession really hurt them. Nope. Ain't gonna happen. But that was positive in a way. A new DC was hired after that fiasco, and a pretty good year the next year was had (with the help of some guy named Germaine throwing a five yard TD with 19 seconds left), which led to an - ummm -interesting and happy Sugar Bowl for me.
