He does. It's fucking absurd. And his track record before ruining our LBers was, um, spotty at best. You serious? Davis gets 500 fucking 000 dollars? Has OSU filed a police report for theft?

So... went back and looked at some of my posts when I saw others talking about it being to early to judge the defense as they might improve.
Not tooting my own horn here but as the phrase goes - "you are what you are".
I just hope to Christ their emotions carry them to a reasonable level of play next week otherwise we're in for some trouble.
First game, Oregon State: Artavis Pierce gained 168 yards on 11 carries. He had TD runs of 80 and 78 yards.
TCU: Darius Anderson rushed for 154 yards on 12 carries including a 93 yard TD.
Purdue: DJ Knox carried it 16 times for 128 yards and a long of 42.
Eleventh game, Maryland: Anthony McFarland gained 298 yards on 21 carries. He had TD runs of 81 and 75 yards.
There are five TD runs of 75 yards or more just in those 4 guys, none of whom have 1000 yards for the season. None of those teams has more than 5 wins.
That's just unbelievably bad.
Idk but White's performance today has me asking for Pryor againWhy we continue to play the same players who make the same mistakes game after game is beyond me. Yes that’s insanity....

It's dickrod-_ichigan bad. This is a crucial offseason. Urban has typically afforded his staff 2 years. Bill Davis' unit is somehow exponentially worse than last years, which was pretty damn bad itself. He has to go. It shouldn't even warrant discussion or evaluation. Schiano may get some leeway because he's hampered by criminally incompetent LBers. Not sure he should, but i could see it. Taver's CBs are a disaster, too. But this is his first year back, so chances are he gets a second year. At a minimum, Davis HAS to go. But this defense is bad enough to warrant wholesale changes.First game, Oregon State: Artavis Pierce gained 168 yards on 11 carries. He had TD runs of 80 and 78 yards.

I agree. Not a fan of the co-coordinator deal. Never have been, but it has worked in the past. It is not right now. If it's between the two, keep Grinch. Saban wanted him badly, and that's good enough for me.Schiano and Grinch dont seem on the same page to me. And as much as position guys should be on the chopping block (esp Davis); a DC change seems in order - even if that means just 1 of them walking.
