2018 NCAA Basketball Tournament Discussion (Official Thread)

Boeheim is fucking losing it.

Why was your 7 foot waste of space in there to receive an inbounds play when they're looking to foul?
Why are you bitching to the ref that he got rid of the ball before the foul, when that doesn't matter?
Why are you yelling at your kid who iced the game with 2 FTs that he should have missed, when making it made it impossible for ASU to win?

Academy award acting job by Rhode Island fools TWO officials, while Wright State looks overmatched versus EweTee.
Wright state down by 11 at half and do not look very good. I think they have a transfer from South Dakota State:lol: here comes a review before halftime for a second

Rhode Island needs to get it together and take care of Oklahoma Only down by a few at halftime..

Rhode Island does not look that good.. Paying too much attention to Young and getting dunked on by other Oklahoma players. Oklahoma might win this game but not the next. Rhode Island is just not that good.

I was in on the Trae Young hype and then out (obviously), but looking more wholly at his season, I do think there is a lot of potential at the next level. He's most often compared to Steph Curry, but I think people immediately think of Junior/Senior Year Steph Curry 10 years ago, or even the current version.

Trying to keep the perspective that this is just a freshman, which is hard to do in this era, and it seems like he's actually ahead. Just think for a minute, what would his Junior or Senior year look like in an era where he stayed in school?

I mean, he's played terribly and even worse it's in a high-usage system so it gets amplified. Now don't mind me while I sit on this fence.
