Yeah, Brad Underwood is the most obvious bad hire in the B1G in recent years. Just a system that doesnt work in a grinder, cerebral basketball conference. He needs to be in a run & gun league or at a big fish program in a small pond league in order for him to succeed long-term.

I guess Illinois was due for some clunkers after Henson and Self. I chastised Weber for years, but he at least had an eye for talent and didnt have them as the worst team in the B1G (he did have them at 9th a couple times, though). They thought Groce was bad, then they brought in the Undertaker.

Greg Gard is no Bo Ryan. For one thing, he doesn't get near enough tail.

yeah, a win against either nebraska or maryland will be a very good one for osu. nebraska has plenty of length and experienced savvy from outside to inside. and fernando should present a lot of challenges for kaleb. no post player that kaleb faces during conference play poses the length, strength, and athleticism that he does. with fernando guarding kaleb, maryland doesn't need to double down.

to beat maryland, we'll need to hit our jumpers. i don't see kaleb having a big (enough) game. he didn't last year and i doubt he will this year. fernando did pretty much nothing last year against us, though, but he looks to have taken a huge freshman-to-sophomore jump.
