How has he been far superior? Purdue was a dumpster fire when Brohm got there and now they're competitive. Minny was mediocre before Fleck got there and they're still mediocre.

Fleck’s team quietly made progress during season 2. Brohm’s team regressed in year 2 or certainly regressed as the season went along. Minny hadn’t beaten their rivals in 15 years and beat them by 3 TDs on the road. Fleck beat Brohm late in the year as well...by 31 points.

Fleck beat a thoroughly mediocre Wiscy team. Brohm beat the B1G champs by 29. So if we're comparing their best wins, it's no contest. Fleck obviously got the head-to-head this year. Of course, Purdue beat Minny the year before. But if we're talking big picture, there's no way you can objectively say what Fleck has done has been far superior.
