I thought I would start a separate thread for the Big Ten tournament. There will be individual threads for the Ohio State games.

Today

Game 1: #12 seed Rutgers vs. #13 seed Nebraska (6:30 p.m., BTN)

Game 2: #11 seed Illinois vs. #14 seed Northwestern (9 p.m., BTN)

Thursday

Game 3: #8 seed Ohio State vs. #9 seed Indiana (12:30 p.m., BTN)

Game 4: #5 seed Maryland vs. Game 1 winner (25 min after Game 3, BTN)

Game 5: #7 seed Minnesota vs. #10 seed Penn State (7 p.m., BTN)

Game 6: #6 seed Iowa vs. Game 2 winner (25 min after Game 5, BTN)

Friday

Game 7: #1 seed Michigan State vs. Game 3 winner (12:30 a.m., BTN)

Game 8: #4 seed Wisconsin vs. Game 4 winner (25 min after Game 7, BTN)

Game 9: #2 seed Purdue vs. Game 5 winner (7 p.m., BTN)

Game 10: #3 seed Michigan vs. Game 6 winner (25 min after Game 9, BTN)

Saturday

Game 11: Semifinal #1: Game 7 winner vs. Game 8 winner (1 p.m., CBS)

This is just the first four years in the conference but overall, the record for Rutgers in the B1G is pretty abysmal. Courtesy of NJ.com:

  • 2014-15: 50-127-1 (.284)
  • 2015-16: 51-124-2 (.288)
  • 2016-17: 37-132-7 (.230)
  • 2017-18: 39-131-3 (.234)
  • Overall: 177-514-13 (.260)
They’ve actually become less competitive in the back half of those four years.
