Chances of Ohio State winning all the games (i.e. "win out%"): 32.8%
2nd highest % is Alabama at 9.1%

Today was a little slow for me, so I dabbled in what I know best, spreadsheets and finding ways to make Michigan look bad.
I decided to chart the 85 guys on scholarship for both Ohio State and UM and sort them according to their 247 composite recruit rankings and, well, here it is (OSU is in RED, like it should be):
These numbers are absolutely staggering. Michigan has more pound for pound talent at only 3/85 scholarship spots, 1 (Rashan Gary) and 84-85... That's it. Ohio State absolutely dominates talent-wise from 2-83. Strictly speaking to recruiting rankings, Ohio State's 34th most talented guy (Burrell) is equivalent to Michigan's 15th (K. Walker). Our 26th guy (Baugh) = their 12th (Singleton). Our 50th guy (Williamson) = their 27th (O. Martin). Those are incredible differences.
This isn't something that Harbaugh can easily fix, even if given a decade. It's a deeply systemic difference that shows just how differently the two rosters are shaped and the talent that is on the field at any given time.
In sum, this shows that Ohio State has much more room for margin of error when it comes to both injuries and in-game issues (play calling, turnovers, etc). There should be no excuses when it comes to blowing the doors off of the Big Ten this year. Urban and Co. have done the recruiting, now it's time to get the numbers to match.

Damn, thanks Shiznit - fast work.
I think the chart shows something we all knew at some level (how many #1 recruiting classes in a row is it now for Saban?), but it's interesting to see it quantified.
Three things, however :
1) I haven't exactly been shy about criticizing poor coaching on the Ohio State staff in the past. And to some degree, I think this chart perfectly illustrates why that is necessary : it doesn't matter how good of a recruiter a coach is if he can't coach, since Alabama has everyone beat on that front anyway.
We win and die against Alabama on the quality of our coaching staff, and that is why it's so necessary to correct deficits as we see them. Sure, we can coast against the Indianas and the MSUs of the world on talent alone, but it's not going to work against Saban or Venables.
On the flip side, calling for Fickells head when the problem lay in Withers wasn't going to solve anything either. Glad to say BP wasn't full of that crowd.
2) I would be shocked if Clemson last year had a better curve than we did, yet they managed to beat Alabama. And I'm quite sure a chart in 2014 would also look pretty similar.
Alabama has a ton of talent, but they're not unbeatable by any means. Urban Meyer, Schiano, and Wilson - if anyone can do it, I sure as hell would put my money on those guys.
3) As per Clemson last year, and in slight contradiction to point 1: make sure you have a killer QB recruiter. Maybe Beck actually wasn't entirely useless?
