Game Thread 2017 Cotton Bowl: OSU vs. USC - 12/29/17 @ 8:30 ET (ESPN)

USC is 75th in total defense and 60th in scoring defense

Offense should have no problem theoretically, considering that we've faced multiple much better defenses this season.

"That's just 'cause the slow, plodding, Big Ten offenses make 'em look good. They don't have to defend explosive PAC 12 offenses every week."

Welcome back! Congrats on the playoffs... I was really hoping for another shot at OU but I'm pulling for you guys to win it all.
Appreciate the support! I hope you guys lay the big hurt on the O.J. $imp$on/Reggie Bu$h school.

It's just up to the defense to not make Darnold look like a lock to be the next Browns QB.
Game plan should always be the same... Run the ball, avoid the turnovers (especially a pick or fumble 6), and stop the run.

Thinking back on it we've allowed a shit load of non offensive TD's this year...

1. Wisconsin
2. Illinois
3. Iowa
4. PED
5. UNLV
6. Maryland
7. Almost gave up one to Scum.

what the fuck. stop it.

Actually, it was the year after I graduated. I was in Navy boot camp and missed this game. It's the only OSU bowl game I've missed since Archie Griffin.

If I recall correctly, the last time we beat USC was with Archie Griffin. That alone ought to fire up Buckeye fans. It's time for that drought to end.

Seriously - pound the football and pass off of it. U$C had a hell of at time stopping Bryce Love with one good leg and whoever his backup was (Scarlett?)....Dobbins and Weber should have a field day if UFM and the offense commits to the run
