Guys, guys, guys...there's a ton of delicious schadenfreude out there tonight...
Your schtick is getting pretty old already. Not sure how else to break it to you. We were up 42-0 when they got a fluke 77-yard TD on a busted coverage. Aside from that, they went 26-46-1 for 272 yards. They threw that much because their run game was completely stuffed (16 rushes for 44 yards). My main argument is that there is some really glaring issues in our pass coverage. That Nebraska QB is a fucking joke compared to McSorley. He has almost as many INTs as TDs. Yet he threw for over 300 yards against us. We gave up almost 350 for the night which is inexcusable.
You can convince yourself we played well D against a [Mark May]ty team and make excuses about how players have the "game of their lives against us" (that seems to happen a ton), but there is no shame in admitting that PSU will give our secondary tons of problems unless or D Line can put significant pressure on that little fucker.
He was a starter due to the suspension. Either way though Webb was on the coverage lol.Yeah but Sheffield is listed as a starter though.

If we dominate in the trenches it wont matter what they do we will win (provided we don't turn the ball over or have blocked field goals for touchdowns)

Please stop. It's a game played by humans. It was over after the first quarter. Giving up a couple garbage time TDs isn't a big deal.
but a lot can change in the next fifteen months (including Harbaugh taking his talents to the Cleveland Browns).
Well, perhaps they'll quit the fucking sport and make everyone happy. Until then, fuck em. :cheers:I want to make a couple of comments on the PSU-scUM game:
1. In the 4th quarter, Penn State pulled their starters on both offense and defense, while Michigan left theirs in. Penn State still gashed Michigan on both sides of the ball. Simply put, Michigan quit down the stretch. I wonder if this will become a theme under Harbaugh, as it did in San Francisco where the players lost all respect for Harbaugh and his Rainman antics.
2. Mike McCray is hot garbage. Absolutely awful. Urban might've missed on some Ohio kids early (Charlton, Gedeon, Butt), but I'm thrilled that McCray turned traitor and headed up north. #karma
3. Chase Winovich is another one who deserved a four-year sentence in scumland. The cheap shot that he delivered to Trace McSorely (three steps after release, drilled McSorely in the back with the crown if his helmet) was ejection-worthy and a perfect example of what scUM is all about.
4. scUM fan is already in "wait until next year" mode. Good luck with that. The talent is getting worse, not better. Harbaugh brought in a ton of 3-star recruits in 2016 and 2017, but quantity over quality is never a sound recruiting strategy. scUM's 2018 class is "meh" at best, and they are not going to be major players for any top prospects going forward. Their 2019 class is off to a good start, but a lot can change in the next fifteen months (including Harbaugh taking his talents to the Cleveland Browns). Meanwhile, Ohio State and Penn State continue to recruit at a very high level, Wisconsin always manages to find kids who perfectly fits their system, Michigan State always does more with less, so expect to see Michigan as an afterthought in the Big Ten for a few more seasons.
