Little bit of both I'd wager. Georgia is a pretty good team too... and they pumped 'em. I'm buying they're playoff material.

Me too. I don't think there's any chance Bama got past Georgia anyway. They'd have the win over Auburn and a trip to their conference championship. Best two scenarios is if Bama lost tonight OR completely won out.

The best idea possible would probably be to have a flexible system where you can chose anywhere from 2-8 teams. But that'd be a logistics and planning nightmare. Though as I think about it... maybe not..all the Bowls already exist and every one of those teams would already know they'd be going to one of those major bowls. Just a question of tagging the relevant major bowl as "playoff" or "not playoff".

First 4 games at the higher rated school's home field....make it hurt....make them southerners play up north.....

Depending on the result of LSU's game tonight, Northwestern could be the best win between both teams. Only thing Bama would have going for them is the Quality Loss™.
