CFB Weekly Thread 2017 CFB Week 11 Open Thread

I've asked myself this question a couple of times this week...

Would I rather see my team go to the CFP and lose (though not like last year)?

Or go to a different bowl and possibly play an opponent I don't care about.

If we went to a different bowl and played a team I hated, that would be ideal.
I don't have a problem with losing in the CFP of course I'd love to to win but just don't embarrass yourself like we did last year with Clemson.

Eh not even concerned about OSU getting in at this point. Team is way too schizophrenic for me to feel confident in the CFP. Just win out and beat someone's ass in a good bowl game.

Beat scUM

Win the B1G

Win bowl game

That's been a successful season at Ohio State for as long as we've been playing football. It's all in reach.

Word. Like somebody said up above...win out, get some more experience next year and get a good win in a nice NY6 bowl, preferably against the domers or an sec school.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion but I would always want at least a CHANCE at a title. We aren't UCF backing in undefeated or something. Take some pride in the fact that with these players and coaches we always have a shot... even if recent history may show otherwise

Exactly

Should the series of miracles needed occur, OSU has the talent to compete with anyone

If I think we deserve it, I want us in...win or lose. I don't think we deserve it this year, regardless of how this plays out. And as schizophrenic as this team is, I'm not overly confident of a good showing in a playoff game. Getting boatraced in back-to-back playoffs would not be a good look.
