2017 CFB Bowl Games Open Thread

Bingo. Another instance of the replay official having no clue as to the rule he is supposedly applying.
this is why i don't think more money (full-time officials) or better training will make much of a difference. how does extra training make someone choose what should have been the blatantly obvious call? these refs just need performance reviews that result in fewer games and fewer big-time games. take away their income and "reward" those who perform well.

This is the Wiscy way in bowl games. Rush for 5+ yards right up the gut at will, but decide to "mix it up" just enough to kill drives and then finish the game losing close despite outrushing the opponent by 200 yards. Still, from what I've seen so far, they should realize that they can just trample the 'Canes.

I could believe that, but I’ve been watching this kid most of the year. There has to be someone on the sideline that can play a better game than him. Strap a cheerleader with a helmet and give them a shot. Hornibrook makes JT look like Peyton Manning.

Their stud TE can only bail him out so many times. Kid is awful.

I mean, could be the alcohol talking, but I swear he should not be starting for any FBS team.

Lol...

Exactly. Someone needs to sit that clown replay official down, show him the replay, tell him the rule (which he clearly doesn't know), and explain to him why there's no way in hell that play met the threshold needed to overturn a call.

Mark Richt has had quite an interesting journey.
From Omaha, Nebraska.
Played QB at "The U."
Coached at Gawja for a long time till unceremoniously given the hook (say "You're welcome, Kirby Smart).
Goes down to his alma and gets them to the Orange Bowl.
Hard to root against a guy like that...

Till you see this:

And since when has Da U ever had pride stickers?!?
