Let's drop some of the hyperbole. They can score quickly, but this type of offense gasses your defense. They are very good at what they do, but so was Baylor a couple of years ago. It's like buckeneye said, it's a successful Big 12 offense.

That being said, Urban likes the read-option, and fans aren't going to convince him to go another route.

Urban’s philophy used to be “score and score fast”. He also had some stellar defenses when following that motto.

Out inability to keep drives sustained also wears out the defense.

Just because we like zone read (which OU does) doesn't mean we have to be mediocre at the other aspects of offense.

This isn't a product of a big 12 offense... this is just smart play calling and execution. Flawless game plan as always with OU on offense
