Small world. I went to college at Hampton. Right across the river from VA Beach! Yeah it'd be worth the trip. Make a weekend out of it. I paid about $25 one year for club seats and $40/ea the next! Well worth it for seats I may never afford again during the regular season!

Five for Friday: Buckeyes with the Most to Prove this Spring

All college football players have something to prove or else they would have stopped playing the game in high school.

Those who have the most to prove are generally the veterans who have yet to earn a sizable role on the team, or a young player who is being counted on to take over at a very important position.

For the Buckeyes this spring, there are plenty of both. For the purposes of this piece, however, we'll stick to five or so.

1. Bri'onte Dunn, RB

It won't be a surprise if Bri'onte Dunn opens the spring as the Buckeyes' No. 1 tailback, and if he does he will do it on the back of 48 career carries and 287 total rushing yards. This is Dunn's final season in the Scarlet and Gray and this is his last chance to fulfill his 5-star promise.

With just 23 carries since the start of the 2013 season, Dunn doesn't have much of a resume, but that hasn't stopped him from being a leader in offseason workouts and a guy that the coaches are counting on.

As we have seen over the last century or so, the starting running back at Ohio State is a very important position and one with plenty of eyeballs watching it. It could be Dunn carrying the ball 20 times per game this season, and if it is, it will be thanks to a strong performance this spring.

If it is not, then you will probably be able to look back to this spring and see where the tide turned.

2. Dontre Wilson, HB

Dontre Wilson is entering his fourth season as a Buckeye and his last two years have been saddled by injuries. He is healthy now and running track for Ohio State, but until he is healthy for an entire football season, he will always have something to prove.

Wilson was a budding star as a freshman in 2013, and at this point when he was a sophomore there were some very big plans for him in this offense. As a junior, due to the aforementioned injuries, he only caught seven passes for 63 yards and didn't carry the ball once. It is time for him to right his ship.

Mickey Marotti had some high praise for Wilson this week thanks to his leadership and a renewed focus due to his health and the opportunity ahead of him. Perhaps a strong spring from Wilson will be enough to move Curtis Samuel back to running back.

I have been following Ohio State spring football since 2001 and this years spring game will reminds me of that week. There are so many new and different players to watch over this spring game. Just like in 2001. I usually just watch the game and not using my DVR, but this year will be different. I am anxious to watch this years exhibition. Should be a lot of fun.

BTN to carry eight replays of spring game

In addition to being able to watch the Ohio State football team's spring game live on BTN Saturday, viewers will have eight chances to catch replays of the spring finale.

The Buckeyes will scrimmage at 1:30 p.m. in Ohio Stadium in front of what university officials hope is a crowd of 100,000-plus fans. Last year, a record 99,391 attended the game, topping the previous national mark of 95,722 in 2009.

In addition to BTN's live telecast, the network will offer these replays:

10 p.m. Saturday

11 a.m. Sunday, April 17

7 p.m. Monday, April 18

4 p.m. Tuesday, April 19

6 a.m. Wednesday, April 20

10 a.m. Wednesday, April 20

5 p.m. Thursday, April 21

10 p.m. Thursday, April 21
