7 - 3 final. No real surprise. Kent State and Wright State have been the best college baseball teams in Ohio for a few years. Too bad Kent State didn't get an at-large bid this season.

Wait we lost to Wright State. Fire Beals and I am serious. He really needs to do a better job of recruiting better players with all that Ohio State offers with it's baseball facilities not to mention the academic side when you compare it against other schools from around Ohio.

Nope, Gene says he is their guy. 3rd best in Ohio is good enough for Ol' Gene. The fact that OSU isn't as good a program as Wright State doesn't seem to move him much.

UCSB with a walk-off grand slam (from a freshman with 26 ABs this year off of a guy just drafted in the first round) to take out Louisville. Only at bat I watched, but damn that was cool. Sports are awesome.
