Let's be honest about something. Ohio State is Ohio State because it has built the business, managed the brand, and jealously guarded its financal fruits. It has a long history, dating back to Woody Hayes and Fred Taylor in particular but beyond them as well. Ohio State is financially able to be Ohio State.
I make this point because you look at other programs and you see that they just miss putting it all together. We'll see just how together this young Buckeye team is tonight, but win or lose, just look at the quality of that Buckeye coaching staff.
The long legacy noted, think about how good Urban Meyer is to attract and manage all that talent.
