2016 CFB Week 2 Open Thread

Michigan's offense, DL and special teams is dominating so it won't matter, but UCF just gashed them for a huge rushing TD thanks to continued struggles with lane discipline and pursuit angles by the back 7.

On the topic of ugly cheerleaders, I have to share this:

I went to a Northwestern away game. We had front row seats, literally, which probably weren't hard to get (they were bleacher style).

So we were a slope of a hill away from the field. It felt like High School.

When the not physically gifted Northwestern cheerleaders came onto our slope to cheer to us, the crowd, pretty much all OSU fans, chanted, "NERDS! NERD! NERD!"

It was crazy cold and rainy, so when the sun came out the lovely OSU contingent chanted "SUN! SUN! SUN!"

It was not my proudest Buckeye moment, but it was pretty funny.

I have been watching this since you first mentioned it. I can't imagine this will not be taken advantage of, but they will have much more coaching and experience before they play us.

It may cost them an earlier game though.

Edit: for all the love of Harbaugh, this is a fundamental issue. Some things require playing time to establish, like receiver route timing with the QB, offensive line cohesion, etc.

This, what Michigan is failing at, is prior to game experience. They just are sucking at it.

Did St Penn know they had a game today?

Was watching one of the pre-game shows and in an interview with Franklin he said he didn't make this game a big deal, it's just another game. The kids know it's a big game already because they hear about from the fans and alums, so the coaching staff doesn't need to make it more than it is.

It's like John Cooper, but without any of the absurd NFL talent.

I had a feeling PSU could get blown out when I heard that interview.
