I could give a tinkers damn about any of these games

There is only The Game now
And I thought I could get obscure:

In the Practical Dictionary of Mechanics of 1877, Edward Knight makes this definition: "Tinker's-dam - a wall of dough raised around a place which a plumber desires to flood with a coat of solder. The material can be but once used; being consequently thrown away as worthless

 good sir.

 My grandmother used to say "what in the Sam Hill". About 30 years ago or so we were driving way out in the Columbia River Gorge and came across Sam Hill's (a railroad magnate) mansion. Up on a windswept bluff in the middle of bloody fucking nowhere. Epiphany.

the best one she had was "uglier than homemade soap"

if you've ever seen homemade soap you get it

My husband wanted to watch the Rutgers game earlier. We changed the channel when WVU started scoring. I said, "do you want to go back to Rutgers? "

He answered, "NO please don't ever take me back to Rutgers. I went there once on business and this time was by far the worst. And that's saying something."

Don't know about Brunswick, but I once did a lecture in Cherry Hill and it was the nicest audience I ever had.
