So, it is considered poor form to run up the score on a top ten team?Late night ESPN guys talking about the Buckeyes "running up the score" tonight.
It was 55-3 in the 3rd quarter, assholes. Were the Bucks supposed to quit at halftime?
EABOD, Rod Gilmore.
A lot of sweet, sweet tears to be enjoyed out in the interweb tubes this morning, fellas. Juggalo tears. Domer tears. Texas tears. Sadly, no cult tears, and that is a disappointment.
Wanted to take another look at what's left of their schedule. It actually made me faintly queasy to type P*nn State instead of Ped.
Not a lot of hope there, barring a miracle in Indiana, or some kind of voodoo resurgence by Sparty. (Not sure jinx powers work if you do it on purpose.)
The really sickening thing was that at the bottom of their schedule, it lists the Big Ten Championship Game--sure they do it for everyone, but it was still unpleasant to see it there.
This world lacks justice.
What's Texas crying about? They won.
So is this another "Greatest defense every played!!1!1 SEC!" game, or is the offense for both teams that crappy?
They are already starting to talk up Mississippi State because of next weeks game with Bama.
It knows no bounds.
Bama has a very mediocre offense and they will get their asses kicked when the time comes. The narrative is living off of the namesake. QB is extremely shaky and average at best. The Bucks play them last night, it's a stomping of similar fashion as Nebraska.
They have a good defense that is built to defend against the running game and that's where the praise ends. I'm anxious to watch them play against an offense that was clicking the way JT and Co. were last night.
That QB throws those balls against the Bucks, it would be a pick six party.
I've watched them struggle all year against weak competition in a dead conference. They will not be ready for the playoffs. Mark it down.
Gillmore also said it's easy to imagine the Buckeyes jumping UW to #4 because of the number of quality wins and strength of schedule.
I was listening to Championship Drive ESPN Podcast and some guy was saying he has less reservations about UW than teams like OSU and Michigan, because the latter havent played anybody. I did a double take. Unless I misinterpreted his statement, he doesn't watch college football.
Anybody else think Gary Anderson is kicking himself for leaving Wiscy for Oregon State? They're fucking AWFUL.
