2016-2017 Ohio State Men's Basketball (Official Thread)

I don't know what you're talking about. I've erased that from my memory and have immersed myself in 2000's OU and 2010's IU football statistics fantasizing about what's to come.

We may have to immerse ourselves in the 2007 and 2011 basketball statistics, fantasizing about the way we were, to get through this season.

Honestly, more frequently lately, I find myself wondering who might follow Matta. I just don't see how he can right this ship at this point.

I don't either. Look at the guys he was pulling in 5-10 years ago. Guys rated that high aren't even seriously considering tOSU now. Not sure how much his health has played into it the results are what they are, and coaches know it's a results occupation. It seems like it will be difficult for him to turn that around.

But I'll still watch every game I can because I've been doing it since the days of Allan Hornyak. He was a fellow "river rat", same hometown as Joey Galloway, and the first tOSU hoops player I remember watching.

I watch, too. But I find myself turning more games off than finishing because it's just so damned frustrating to watch. They really just aren't very good. I can watch a bad team if the effort is consistent, they aren't sloppy...and, well, frustrating. But this team makes so many stupid, self-inflicted mistakes, it's hard to take.
