PSA for those who have not considered the implications of this years Florida vs Ole Miss game: Avoid all CFB discussion/pre-game/half-time/post-game shows on all networks from this evening until at least Saturday evening, unless you want to see a teary-eyed Tebow delivering his "promise" another ten-thousand times.

Students storm the field because students like storming the field and don't really care about the perceived worthiness of the opponent.

In this case, I think the perceived worthiness is greater than the actual worthiness. Thanks to ESPN 30 for 30, the unwashed masses of sports fans around the country still think of Miami as "The U". So, this looks like a "signature" win to them. It's also probably the best win UC has under Tubberville. UC upset a P5 team on national television. I'm not sure if UC has done that since Kelly left.

The fact you were playing on a Thursday night tells you where your program stands but that aside, what the hell, it was a win over a P5 team with the backup QB.
