2015 Week 2 CFB Open Thread

Da[]_[] vs fau. The howard schellenbeker bowl. Wonder if this will end up like the miami / fiu game. Lets go whatever your mascot is fau.

Those who are dying for the B1G to move away from ESPN and go with FOX for the next TV deal should take notice of this game. The game's in Florida, but the commentators are calling it from a studio in LA. I know many of ESPN's commentators aren't that great, but there's a noticeably disconnected, low-rent vibe going on here.

What in the actual fuck? I could maybe see a regional channel doing that, but that's nuts for a national channel.

So they sent Petros out to Miami by himself? Talk about a signal that they don't actually want to be serious about this whole college football thing.

As much as i hate espin's non live sports shows and lame agendas they push in their broadcasts, their game productions are light years ahead of fox.

I have a feeling it'll be a split like PAC got -- only more money.
Neither can afford the market value by itself, ESPN alone doesn't have time slots for all the inventory, whereas Fox is desperate to fill those time slots and Big football might be the last major sport for sale in awhile.
