They'll get in over a 1-loss ACC champ if that's UNC as well.

The chances are slim, but you just never know. I don't think the committee gets caught up in the whole conference vs. conference thing like the mediots and fans tend to do....

It's too easy to blame the Sparty game entirely on Beck. Even when we had chances to make plays we didn't make them, and the defense didn't take advantage of their back up QBs. They ran the ball better than we did. It's college football. Those days happen sometimes.

Again, the Bucks are the only team in the Big Ten with a shot in hell of running through the gauntlet of the playoffs. Iowa/MSU will get smoked. If State would have rolled last weekend, I wouldn't feel as bad about the situation. But they didn't. Ohio State beat Ohio State.

I fully believe Bama/Clemson would curbstomp MSU/Iowa.

I'd love for either of them to prove me wrong, but it's not happening. Fortunately, I have no qualms about pulling for either of them, so I'll wish whichever squad makes it the best. Go get one for the conference and prove that you belong in the same breath as the Buckeyes.

Damn. Just realized I kinda need three TVs, instead of two, set up for tonight's games. Don't have that capability in the garage right now. May have to remedy that before next season. Mounting another TV means removing Buckeye swag from the wall somewhere though. Hmmmm.

I'd bet against the committee jumping Oklahoma State over Ohio State. Don't undervalue the weight of preconceptions and past performance. Besides, the Buckeyes just trounced a team the committee had ahead of Okie State today.
