If people hear something repeated often enough the message gets through. We joke about the SEC hype yet it's obvious it has an effect, even on some people here.

My view on Bama is that they are currently being overrated based on their schedule (like it typically is, the SEC is overrated pre-season while in reality many of their wins were against not very great of teams). But if they win the SEC at 12-1 with their talent level, they 100% deserve to be in. You could make an argument they should be #6 right now behind Clemson, Oklahoma, MSU, OSU, and Iowa. But they should 100% be in if they beat Florida. I personally think they should be #3, maybe #4, in the final poll though unless they skull f*** Florida. Which is very possible. And really, they may be. I think Clemson will be #1 if they win and B1G winner will be #2. Then probably Bama #3 and Oklahoma #4.
