I'll actually take the heat for his response. I figured the tongue n cheek approach would have been as obvious as some of the inflammatory stuff I've said about Pittsburgh fans. Clearly it was not.

Understand the situation totally before I made my reply which was more a general comment, than an individual ie tidefan. So apologies for not makin' it more clear. When I hear anyone say, either from the north or south, We've, for the most part, dealt with the issue over the last 50 years and relations have improved tremendously., it's always a red flag.

Usually I just smile and move on as I posted above, it's an endless circle jerk. But hey, circle jerks can be entertaining too.

My husband and I were born and raised in the State of South Dakota. We were blessed to find our home in Alabama and have been here for 43 years. I can honestly say that NO ONE understands the South, the people here, and the way of life. I am sure Ohio people, like others, have no idea what they are talking about. I can assure you, that if the South had won the war, this world would be a better place. Unless you live here, you will never understand and I feel sorry for you!!! There is more love, compassion, decency, and just plain love and manners in the South than in all the world. And yes, we love our football!!! Hopefully we behave in a proper Southern way simply listen to all of your smack!! Thank heavens that Bama fans understand class. We look foward to meeting you on the field! ROLL TIDE!!
